From traditional dishes, we suggest a plate of “Spaghetti alla strombolana”, seasoned with olives, Salina capers, anchovies, mint, wild fennel, tomato and plenty of chilli, perfect for palates that love positive flavours.
Above all, the island of Stromboli is famous for its volcano, one of the most active in Europe. The Stream of Fire is a rocky wall smoothed by the lava, which is the most interesting and dramatic natural attraction on the island. The lava stream which flows slowly down from the volcano to the sea, lighting up the night, is a natural spectacle which evokes unique feelings, one of the memories to treasure from an Aeolian holiday. Best if you see it on a full stomach!
