In 1970, Pino and Amelia Sulfaro, natives of the island of Panarea, decided to open their sea view terrace to their closest friends, who were looking for their piece of paradise. Soon, the smell of Pino's good catch attracted curious tourists up the stairs, hence the name Cusiritati “curiosity” ! Every day, Pino, a sea lover and an expert sailor, was bringing his very fresh daily catch to his beloved Amelia, who skillfully revisited the traditional Aeolian dishes, giving their customers tasteful sensations. The quality of the raw products used by Pino and Amelia, gave Cusiritati its reputation, of being home of the typical Aeolian taste.
